"I just wanted to say thank you for being my biggest advocate. I truly appreciate all of the hours you have spent helping me with my loans and supporting me through this arduous process. Dealing with the ferocious beast that is my student loans, you have always been by my side. I’m so glad that I ended up calling you despite the fact that I was so paranoid this might be a scam. As you know, my parents have not been very supportive or helpful during this time, and dealing with this on my own felt overwhelming and impossible. I was anxious and depressed all the time because I didn’t know how I was going to afford rent or food, let alone any other simple luxuries when my loans kicked in. I was so afraid of the debt.
